Jane Boylin retires from Dumbarton House board

Jane Boylin, Chair of Dumbarton House and a West Virginia Dame, presided over her last Dumbarton House Board Meeting at the end of September, 2022. At the Biennial, later in October, Jane will step down after six years as National Vice President and Chair of Dumbarton House, our National Headquarters.  

Jane has done an outstanding job as chair of the Dumbarton Board for the last four years. She has held a seat on the board for the last 13 years. Jane is to be commended for her outstanding service to Dumbarton House and NSCDA as well as her outstanding leadership representing West Virginia Colonial Dames.

Jane was honored for her service during her last meeting at Dumbarton House. She was presented with a replica of the Sundial in the garden of Dumbarton House, as well as a reproduction of a covered box which is located in the Collection at the Dumbarton House from its Staff.

As Jane steps down, Kit Wellford with take her place to represent West Virginia.
