On April 30, 2025, Committee Chair Betsy Wilson was able to present Isabella Cortellesi, a Marshall University Senior History Major, with a $1,000 scholarship. Isabella is from Hurricane, WV and plans to continue her education at West Virginia University. She says she comes from a long line of “history enthusiasts” who had a great influence on her love of history.
