The 2025 NSCDA-WV Roll of Honor recipient is Betty Scott Ireland. A native of Charleston, she graduated from the University of Cincinnati before becoming a pension trust banker and later a small business leader and executive in the pension profession. She then served as the Executive Director of the West Virginia Consolidated Public Retirement Board and later as WV Secretary of State from 2005 – 2009. In addition, she has been appointed to various state government boars as well as a local boards ad foundations. Within the NSCDA-WV, she has been the Chair of the By-Laws Committee, Treasurer, Chair of the Finance Committee, Chair of the Nominating Committee, and a mentor to our President.
