President Lynn Goldsmith welcomes all West Virginia Colonial Dames and guests to the NSCDA-WV Semi-Annual Meeting and Luncheon on Wed., Nov. 6, at Edgewood Country Club in Charleston, West Virginia.
Catherine Nuzum, Curator of Special Projects at Dumbarton House, headquarters of NSCDA in Georgetown, DC, will speak on the national Dames project – Great American Treasures. Nuzum will explain how the project will enhance the public exposure of the 90 historical sites and collections all across America ranging from log houses, adobe buildings, houses and hotels, schools, churches, and plantation houses. These historical houses are cared for by the state NSCDA societies to preserve America’s history for future generations.
