Ms. Dede Arbogast at George Washington ancestral home in England

Ms. DeDe Arbogast, Associate Trustee of Sulgrave Manor, attended the Centenary Celebration of Sulgrave Manor on June 8, 2014, in the peaceful village of Northhamptonshire, England. Sulgrave Manor is the 600-year-old manor house built by Lawrence Washington, the fifth great-grandfather of George Washington. Ms. Arbogast was accompanied by Mrs. William E. Chilton, III, Honorary Trustee of Sulgrave Manor; Mrs. Shawn George, Mrs. Charles G. Gussler, Mrs. Stuart Webb, and Mrs. Latelle M. LaFollette, III.

Through Friends of Sulgrave Manor, donors raise funds to support the maintenance and preservation of the famous Tudor house visited by history lovers from all around the world. The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America made a $100,000 contribution to the Friends of Sulgrave Contact Ms. Arbogast if you would like to purchase a commemorative Sulgrave Manor Centennial Plate, a limited edition, numbered, Franklin Mint, 10-inch dinner plate that is microwaveable and dishwasher safe.
