Projects
The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America in the State of West Virginia is dedicated to projects that preserve our nation’s history, promote education, and inspire civic pride. Through these initiatives, we honor the past while ensuring its lessons endure for generations to come.
Educational Activities
Education has always been at the heart of our mission. The NSCDA-WV sponsors historical essay contests, scholarships, and educational programs that bring history to life for students and the community. Through lectures, tours, and partnerships, we help foster a deeper understanding of America’s beginnings.

Patriotic Engagements
The Dames actively promote good citizenship and love of country through community service and participation in state and national observances. We encourage civic responsibility, honor our nation’s founders, and work to preserve the ideals upon which our country was built.

Historic Preservation
Our members are deeply committed to preserving the places and stories that shaped our state and nation. The NSCDA-WV supports restoration projects, museum collections, and the preservation of historic homes and landmarks that reflect West Virginia’s colonial and early American heritage.
